Who we are

Rainer has experience in both the corporate world and in management consulting.

With a passion for good corporate governance he sat for the Certified Director exams with the Institute of Directors South Africa.

 Rainer has served as an executive and non-executive director, chairman and trustee on a number of companies in Africa. 

He believes in Directorship as a profession and harnessing the collective strength of a diverse Board to ensure sustainability of a company.

Having also been a consultant at a major consulting company, he has had the opportunity to work with many executive teams, both in the private and public sectors as well as family owned businesses.

Specifically his major focus was to assist in the turnaround of companies.

He has published his first Book "Strategy De-mystified" which presents a step-by-step guide targeted at the Senior executive and managers, to assist in developing an implementable strategy.

He is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and works with business owners specifically setting up Family Councils, Boards and value enhancement, especially when planning to exit or transition their business.

BSc.Eng (Mech) and an M.Eng. (Ind.)

Cert. Dir® (Certified Director - Institute of Directors South Africa)

CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor - EPI USA)

Xavier is an admitted attorney of the High court, but has spent most of his career focussing on Supply Chain Practice.

A Strategist, having led many policy development and transformational projects and programmes.

He has also been involved in the operational and strategic planning and restructuring of business units, with a focus on cost saving.

During his career he has worked with and led diverse multifunctional and multi cultural teams.

Having served on a number of boards and partnerships, he has a deep understanding of the dynamics and requirements of non-profit  boards and partnerships.

Xavier also consults on Change Management and Performance Management.  

As a Supply Chain specialist, he has also been a speaker and conference chair at numerous local and international conferences and is an accomplished trainer.

Xavier holds the following qualifications and certifications:

B Juris and LL B degrees

An admitted Attorney of the High Court

Diploma in negotiation skills - International Negotiation academy

BTEC certificate in Project Management

Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS)
